How does the Foundation help?
The Foundation Board of Trustees annually distributes money for:
Individual student assistance to cover emergency needs where there are no other resources. Each school receives funds for this purpose.
Scholarships for college or technical school to graduates of each high school.
Direct financial aid for unique learning opportunities.
Seed money for enrichment programs.
Learning grants for educational improvements in the classroom.
Since 1989, more than $360,000 has been awarded for scholarships, grants and other awards.
Approximately 260 graduates have received scholarships since 1990.
Hundreds of students are assisted annually from the emergency needs fund in grades K-12.
Over $40,000 in learning grants have been awarded to educators to enhance student learning.
